Boston Park Named in Honor of Mayor Menino
Honorcraft was honored to create the recognition for the Mayor Thomas M. Menino Park which was dedicated on November 4, 2013. The universally accessible playground is the first of its kind in Boston, as it was designed to be used by children and adults of all abilities.

The plaques created for the playground are made from cast bronze- a timeless and durable material often chosen for outdoor recognition. Historic cast bronze pieces can be refinished to their original state, a service which Honorcraft offers.
As leading experts in recognition for the past fifty years, Honorcraft has created countless pieces of timeless recognition for universities, museums and hospitals, as well as for-profit organizations across the country. It is always heartwarming when we are called upon to create recognition for an organization that serves the community that we live and work in.

We are so honored to be included in the opening of this special place. Menino was quoted at the event, saying, “This is Boston at its best… people coming together to improve the quality of life for the residents of our city.” We couldn’t agree more!
